Mellow and Mood-Lifting Melon, uhh, Lemon.

Under Construction, after four attempts on four different themes! Today is just not the day to write. My mind is void of any creativity, nor there is a flow of ideas. It is not that I am forcing myself to write. I just wanted to! But nothing lived up to my satisfaction. To stop myself from going to bed with the sense of dejection, I clicked sweet lime instead.

It was supposed to be round but thanks to my dexterity when it comes to knives, it turned out to look like a leaf. But isn't it a pretty leaf? The colours exceeded my expectations and life doesn't seem as dull as it seemed earlier in the day.

Neither a melon nor an orange. If you notice the white veins carefully you'll realise it's sweetlime and a bit of photoshop. In an orange they don't emerge from the centre.

PS: I made a typo, lemon ki jagah melon hogaya! (Remember, orange is a lemon)

Ok, whatever fruit that is, looks juicy man !! I'd eat that with a mix of salt and chili powder !!
Btw, theme problems ?! Why don't you look up for some external themes ?? Like pyzam and lemonade...

phew... Ill just say, that's a very good photo :) By the way, I finally bought Canon Powershot A590. Went crazy over its macro feature, so much that I started shooting everything in macro :P

Under Construction was for the various themes I chose for this post and not the theme of the blog as such. Thanks for the tip any ways. I usually make my own theme.

This one is shot in macro too. It is one feature that helps you make beautiful objects of photography out of nothing. But needs some practice to master.

On my trip to Bangalore, I had gone out on a walk with my maternal grandfather, or Nana, as I lovingly call him. Most of the time he was feeling his way along the road. Feeling because he couldn't see. He developed Glaucoma a few years ago after a stroke and ever since his vision has kept degrading reaching a figure of 25% of normal this year. He was also not able to recognize the sound of approaching vehicles since he couldn't hear their engines rattle. He is deaf in one ear and partially deaf in the other. To illustrate, he would not know a truck is approaching him till it is around 10 feet away from him. Despite his health constraints, he has never missed his 5 KM morning walk in the past 23 years that I have known him. I am loving this phase. I haven't had to look hard for a reason to smile. All I need is to rewind and replay a memory, one so powerful that it belittles every other that has elapsed in the past. How long are its effects going to last? I am hoping at least this life time. That is being conservative in my estimate.
